1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether acting personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”, “user”), and Verified Directory (“Verified Directory”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operating in partnership with Mysatech, regarding your access to and use of the Verified Directory platform, including business listings, verification services, digital directories, and any related tools or features (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, all content and materials made available through Verified Directory—including but not limited to source code, databases, platform architecture, verification systems, website design, text, graphics, images, logos, audio, and video content (collectively, the “Content”)—are the intellectual property of Verified Directory and/or Mysatech, or are licensed to us.

All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos displayed on the platform are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No part of the Content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or exploited for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

3. User Representations

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

  • All information submitted by you is accurate, truthful, current, and complete
  • You will maintain and promptly update your information where necessary
  • You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms
  • You are not accessing the platform through automated, deceptive, or non-human means
  • You will use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws
  • Any business information submitted for verification is legitimate and not misleading

Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension, removal, or permanent termination of access.

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which they are made available. The platform may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavours except those expressly approved by us.

  • Systematically retrieving data or content to create or compile a collection, database, or directory without written permission
  • Making any unauthorised use of the Services, including harvesting user data or contact details
  • Using the Services to compete with, replicate, or commercially exploit the platform or its Content
  • Attempting to bypass security, verification systems, or platform safeguards

5. Verification Disclaimer

Verified Directory applies structured verification processes to improve transparency and trust. However, verification reflects information available at the time of assessment and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional endorsement.

We do not guarantee the ongoing conduct, quality, legality, or performance of any listed business or service provider.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verified Directory, Mysatech, and their directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Services.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts for any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services.

8. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will become effective once published on the platform. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
